Ocean Waves

A very special short film I made for my Slow Cinema class final project!
In the first scene, a girl lies in bed as a fortune cookie note drifts down from the air; in the second, she smokes a cigarette, contemplating the message on the note; in the third, she hesitates to open the fridge, but eventually grabs a bottle of red wine; in the fourth, she drinks the wine, and hears the distant sound of a train passing by; and in the final scene, she watches the train, makes a call to someone she loves, then all the red lights turn green and all the boom barriers open up for her.
